So incredibly delicious and everyone is so friendly. I moved to NY and genuinely haven't had a gyro as good since. I took my family here for my graduation I loved this place so much. The feta fries are worth the upgrade.
First try for lunch today... outstanding! Authentic Greek so tasty! My husband ordered the combo platter so we could try a bit of everything and it did not disappoint! My new favorite in the High Country!
We've been enjoying the wonderful food from Ambrosia when they were just High Country Greek. They did a wonderful job in laying out and decorating Ambrosia. The food got even better too. Ambrosia is one of our usual spots to get lunch so when our daughter's first birthday was around the corner we couldn't think of a better place to cater the birthday party. The team was SO easy to work with and the catering options were great. Everyone enjoyed the food and thankfully we had some leftovers (which didn't last long in our fridge). Whether you're looking to have an event catered or need good food spot, Ambrosia has you covered.
Stopped on a whim while on a weekend trip. Staff is friendly. Had the sampler platter to share. It was amazing in taste with a huge spread of food. Worth every penny. We had plenty to take in to go boxes. Definitely a stop on our next trip to boone
This place serves all the Greek-American staples and does a great job with them. The unassuming, little restaurant was a delightful find. We drove up from Lenoir for a little shopping, and stopped in so we weren't hungry when we strolled through Harris-Teeter (a move too dangerous to risk). I had the large Greek Salad and added the lamb gyro meat. My husband went with the OG -- traditional lamb gyro meat stuffed into a warm, pillowy, soft pita and dressed with salad and tzatziki. We split a half order of Greek Fries. It all came to the table hot and delicious. The salad was fresh, crisp and paired well with the Greek dressing. It was kissed with lemon and came with a healthy garnish of feta and briney Greek olives. The fries were so hot and crisp that they were the perfect contrast to the tzatziki and feta. We will return for sure.
The food was unbelievably good—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The service was exceptional as well. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and felt well taken care of.
Food was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Quaint little spot. They forgot the chicken off the wife’s salad and brought out a huge bowl of chicken to go on top.
We all really enjoyed our food. Serving sizes are huge but doesn’t lack any flavor. Very happy we found this little gem.
